Desire. Create. Experience.

THE PATH WILL BE REVEALED: Believe in yourself and your intention, and the path will be revealed. It's always been here, in front of you. You couldn't see but now you do. It's not about finding the path, it'sabout finding YOU. It's no coincidence (and it wasn't by chance) that I ended up filming a yoga class here in Santorini two summers ago - in an experience that was also my first European trip, first time in Greece, first time seeing the Mediterranean, first yoga retreat and first time filming yoga classes abroad (as well as many more firsts...) The point is, if someone told me 19 years ago when I started my yoga practice and took my first few yoga breaths that it would reveal the path leading me to where I am now, I wouldn't have seen it. I didn't see it then but I know it was there all along. My intention for "doing yoga" at that time was part of listening to my intuition that yoga could provide a means to a healthy pregnancy for myself and my son. I didn't know anything about yoga but I somehow knew it would offer me so much more than I could grasp or understand at that time. Think of how many times you've heard that voice in your head give you advice, strange as it seemed at the time ... did you trust it?

WE BE YOGA: We all have different reasons to "try yoga." (I use quotes with "try" and "do" because I don't define the practice as something separate from actually being. We be yoga. We are yoga. Just like I be me, you be you, we don't try to be ourselves and we're not just out there doing life, we are life). That reason is a gateway to something more but NOW, it doesn't have to be whatever it will be later. Your yoga practice reveals your path when you reveal yourself. The more than you learn who you are, what you want, and what your purpose is - that is somehow realized through breathing, moving, postures, poses, meditation, movement, showing up, and being present - the more your pathway becomes clear. The path will always have twists and turns, deadends, re-directs, construction, traffic, or wide open spaces. The path you are on is always changing but the intention that is guiding it, derived from the seat of your soul, keeps you on the path. That's the point, stay on YOUR path even if you don't know where it's going. What becomes clear is the trust that you are where you are meant to be right now.

THE STEPPING STONES THAT CREATED A PATHWAY: If I didn't make THAT decision back in 2002, I would not have had the desired experience I was designed to have in discovering myself through yoga, which lead to me eventually studying Ayurveda, becoming a yoga teacher, leading yoga programs, eventually launching an online yoga presence during Covid-19 (when all I could do is roll out my mat and show up for something more - when being a yoga teacher truly called to me more than it ever had in that my part during this time was to hold space and serve others in a place of wellness and healing), which then lead to me taking a giant-leap-of-faith in myself with career shifts that I am still flowing through. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED: Today I am here. I am a marketing strategist and director for NGNG Enterprises where I get to be inspired by thought leaders and CEOs and entrepreneurs and game changers sharing their vision and knowledge with the world around them (wow - I had no idea I was going to land here), and a yoga teacher and wellness coach withing my own business (a space I will always hold). Before this, I had the honor of launching a live-stream platform for yoga and wellness, called Exhale, with my dear yoga friend, Ashley and we poured two years of our lives into it and build it to what it needed to be for now, which then gave me the pathway to step into my own wellness business that is still taking shape. While growing Exhale, I working as a holistic esthetician at Three Cutters and an educator for Aveda Corp.

CAN'T STOP - WON'T STOP: FLOW STATE: Before landing there, I had the career of a lifetime at Aveda Institue Denver where I started working in retail in 2006 and discovered the connection between beauty and wellness. I grew into the leadership team in my late twenties and put my college degree hard at work, built an entire marketing department, and developed my coaching skills. I was part of something more during my 15-year stretch with Aveda. I'm so proud of the impact I made with/at Aveda and its mission, which gave me a mission. There was a 3-year hiatus during my Aveda career where I needed to pour into yoga more. I joined the CorePower Yoga management team and focused on yoga business. When I returned to Aveda, I came in like a force of nature and spent the last 6 years with Aveda doing everything I could - stretching myself in so many ways but ultimately I knew it was time to move on so I could grow myself in a different way. Once I made that decision, the doors flew open. My relationships shifted, my ambitions shifted, and my heart opened. This is where I am standing today.
